AUDIT MANAGER
 
Qualification and competencies:
Candidate must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Has 6 to 7 years experience in external audit
Exposure to audit of Asset Management, Banking and Insurance Companies, Gaming and Holding companies is a plus
Has stable internet connection (Currently on permanent work from home arrangement)
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Team player, flexible and able to work under pressure
Able to work and coordinate with a virtual team
Working knowledge in using Microsoft Office Suite, Google applications and other Data Analytics tool
Primary responsibilities and accountabilities:
Ensure timely delivery of high quality output aligned with PwC global assurance standards and engagement team's expectations
Keep up-to-date with technical accounting developments using the firm's knowledge and research tools
Evaluate and review staff performance and discusses points for improvement
Assist engagement leader in planning, execution and completion activities
Lead interviews and discussions with clients and other third party contacts
Discuss exceptions and audit adjustments with engagement leader and help reach a conclusion
Monitor overall progress and performance of the engagement team and identify possible delays in the completion of the engagement
Contribute to a positive working environment by knowledge sharing and working effectively with team members
Act as an ambassador of the firm's processes and policies
