JOB QUALIFICATIONS
A degree in hospitality management, hotel administration, tourism, or business administration is often preferred.
Experienced as hotel manager is required
Leadership and Communication
Ability to inspire and manage diverse teams while effectively communicating with staff, guests, and stakeholders.
Problem-Solving
Quick and effective decision-making skills to handle unexpected situations.
Financial Acumen
Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Customer Service Excellence
Commitment to providing outstanding guest experiences.
Adaptability
Ability to handle varying demands, from peak seasons to off-seasons.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Operations Management
Supervise and coordinate the activities of all departments, such as front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance, and sales.
Ensure all services meet or exceed guest expectations.
Guest Experience
Handle guest complaints, requests, and feedback.
Ensure a high standard of customer service is maintained throughout the property.
Financial Management
Prepare and manage budgets, control expenses, and maximize profitability
Monitor key performance metrics, such as occupancy rates, average daily rates (ADR), and revenue per available room (RevPAR).
Staff Leadership
Recruit, train, and motivate employees
Set performance goals and evaluate staff performance.
Foster a positive and productive work environment.
Marketing and Sales
Work with the sales and marketing team to promote the hotel.
Develop strategies to attract and retain guests, including special offers and partnerships.
Compliance and Safety
Ensure the property adheres to health, safety, and local regulations.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and security.
Property Maintenance
Oversee the upkeep of the property, including facilities, equipment, and aesthetics.
Coordinate with the maintenance team to address any issues promptly.
