Job Description
The Audit and Risk Specialist is responsible for performing full scope auditing and advisory services encompasses operations, financial and compliance, supporting the audit management in providing assurance and recommending operating improvement of the following:
Soundness, adequacy and application of operating controls for a business process
Compliance with regulatory rules, contracts, established policies, plans and procedures
Reliability of report issues to management
Quality of performance in carrying out assigned responsibilities
Safeguarding of Company assets
The Audit and Risk Specialist will also be responsible for preparation of related working papers not limited to documentation of information obtained, analyses, conclusions and engagement results.
Qualifications and Skills needed for the position
Must be a CPA Board Passer or with other equivalent certification such as CIA or CISA or other similar professional license
Newly passed CPAs or equivalent certifications CIA, CISA, etc are also welcome to apply
Preferably with atleast 1 year work experience in Internal and/or Risk Management
Must have excellent command of spoken and written English (can prepare write-ups, correspondence, etc.)
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
Must be organized, pro-active, dynamic, reliable, able to multi-task, detail-oriented and willing to work under pressure
Exposure or knowlegde on: Financial Management; Regulatory; Quality & Control; Informaton System; Governance, Risk & Control; Change Management and Conflict Resolution
Must be wiiling to learn and be trained
