Main Area of Responsibility:
The Audit and Compliance Lead is responsible for ensuring that the company is complying with the regulatory requirements and that the company and its employees are complying with internal policies and procedures. This position entails heavy Audit, engagement and practice on DPA, ISO 27001, ISO 31000, SOX and SOC 2.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Manage the overall activity of the Internal Audit function.
Maintain and periodically update the Internal Audit Charter, Policies, Procedures and Manual.
Monitor and conduct interviews with the department heads in ensuring quality standards process in their respective departments
Monitor the audit cycle programme to ensure it remains effective and up to date
Create, present and periodically update the Internal Audit roadmap/strategic plan, risk-based audit plan, and department's budget and resource requirements.
Ensure all follow-up actions are listed on the appropriate Action plan, and 'Work In Progress' comments are provided after an appropriate interval for each action until completion
Engage with continuous knowledge development regarding each certification's requirements, recommended best practices, tools, techniques and performance standards
Periodically update the audit universe, and perform risk assessment to finalize the audit plan.
Partner with key stakeholders to create, update and improve key policies and procedures.
Qualifications | Competencies:
Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or Economics
At least 5 years of extensive experience in handling Audit and Compliance engagements
Extensive knowledge of ISO 27001 Information Management Security
Experience in management systems design/implementation and maintenance (to ISO 27001)
Experience of conducting internal audits for ISO standards
Ability to manipulate large amounts of data and to compile detailed reports
High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
Must be willing to work in McKinley West, Taguig
