Job Responsibilities:
Preparation and reconciliation of payroll, superannuation and PAYG tax payments
BAS/IAS preparation & Lodgement
Accounts payable & receivable
Account reconciliations and follow up of debtors
Recording and maintaining daily financial transactions
Data entry with an understanding of accounting principals
Posting accounts & processing journal entries
Maintaining a balanced general ledger
Management of reports
Liaising with external accountants
Invoice preparation & issuance
Commission reconciliation
End of Month Reporting.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance or related field
Must have DEXT and XERO experience
Proven experience AU Bookkeeping experience in an Accounting Firm
Well-versed in accounting principles and understanding of accounting practices
Ability to manage your own workflow and deadlines.
Organizational skills and attention to detail
Efficiency in using MS Excel
Good communication skills - verbal and written
