Your Role and Responsibilities The Associate Partner focuses on advising and implementing solutions that lead our clients through digital disruptions within their business by applying broad and up to date technical expertise and business acumen in an enterprise solution sales environment. Responsibilities include leading product and solution briefings for clients and prospects at all levels of the organization, regularly advising the client on enterprise transformation in face to face and virtual settings, gathering detailed client requirements, understand client key success factor, decision process and proposing effective technical solutions. Primary Job Responsibilities Apply deep domain, technology, and/or industry expertise, consulting techniques & cognitive approach to analyze issues, create and implement innovative solutions. Advising client on how to make strategic choices and decisions. As the lead technical member of the sales team, collect, validate and vet with customer the deal-specific technical, functional, and non-functional requirements Develop non-binding indicative estimate (NBIE) solution proposals to include cost cases, draft deployment timelines, technical/operational dependencies, draft architectures Apply technical and competitive insights specific in key market technology to optimize sales opportunities (also understand how to engineer solutions for leading hybrid cloud technologies, 5G & next generation network, cloud migration) Perform/execute client-facing meetings, RFP oral presentations, quarterly business reviews at client sites, and conduct hands-on solution / demonstrations Advise/write the technical elements of RFP responses, contracts and Statements of Work (SOWs) with respect to the applicable technical scope, integration points, and architectural ramifications Develop and maintain client relationships as trusted advisor and thought leader Cultivate and maintain relationships with business, channel and alliance partners Achieve and maintain appropriate technical certifications in leading market technologies for advice, migrate, build on Cloud Platforms and/or key infrastructure technologies including Cloud, Network, Compute, Storage and Virtualization. Required client-related sales travel up to 25-50% (post COVID-19) -- during COVID-19 pandemic, execute meetings effectively from home via Webex Requirements: Minimum of 5-10 years' experience in the IT industry Minimum 3 years of Sales Engineering / solution design experience in client-facing meetings, performing technical aspects of RFP oral presentations, participating in quarterly business reviews at client sites Experience leading in validating, vetting with customer the deal-specific technical, functional, and non-functional requirements Experience in articulating technology options to clients, capturing & prioritizing complex requirements, resolving conflicting requirements, and obtaining client buy in on assumptions made to fill gaps in critical requirements. Experience developing technical solution proposals, including cost estimates, draft deployment timelines, technical/operational dependencies Strong understanding of the client infrastructure technology, client IT environment, client decision process and buying behavior. Existing technical certification key market IT infrastructure technologies such as(but no limited) : AWS, Azure, Cisco, Juniper, Open Source, ServiceNow, Vmware. Additional knowledge or experience in the focal areas of IT and/or cloud technology strategy, architecture, service management and/or resiliency is preferred.
