Job Description : Associate Network Engineer (Video Engineering) Remote / Full Time What you'll be doing: Reporting to the North American Site Technology Manager, this position will handle a variety of tasks associated with the Desktop Operations, Job Description : Associate Network Engineer (Video Engineering) Remote / Full Time What you'll be doing: Reporting to the North American Site Technology Manager, this position will handle a variety of tasks associated with the Desktop Operations, Audio and Video Engineering departments. This person will provide, audio, visual, Zoom, and other departmental platform tech support and troubleshooting. Assist Desktop Staff with configurations, installations and ongoing upkeep of desktops, laptops, peripheral equipment, and software as per our standards and guidelines Update and maintain new and old inventory associated with Desktop Operations and Video Engineering Decommission of obsolete and/or broken equipment as required using internal processes Assist with Video Meeting setups, testing and event functions as required. Assist with the testing and deployment of new applications and systems for Video Engineering and Desktop Operations. Work Tier 1 - 3 tickets associated with Video Engineering via our internal ticketing system Assist with the cable management of all conference rooms Assist with asset tagging equipment in accordance to policy Follow up on warranty service calls for broken equipment Performs other related functions as assigned by the immediate manager with a moderate level of supervision What skills will you need: Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical people, senior level, Global Teams, and other Management level personnel Ability to recognize, analyze, and effectively solve basic problems in a timely and organized manner Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Must be self-motivated Basic understanding of various Microsoft Office Operating Systems and products (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Ability to create and maintain various forms of documentation and tracking Must possess proven problem-solving skills, critical thinking skills and the ability to effectively read, write and give oral presentations Interact with employees, customers, and colleagues effectively on a professional level Must be able to work at heights and lift to 50 pounds and move up to 75 pounds. Basic knowledge of networking and related services (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.) Experience and Education: Associate or Bachelor degree in electronics or closely related degree, networking, or equivalent experience preferred 1-3 years of desktop support experience preferred 1-3 years of video conferencing experience preferred Basic experience with networking setup, configuration, troubleshooting of desktop/laptop hardware and software (Windows and Mac OS) Basic experience with Windows and Mac OS desktops/laptops, as well as Android, and iOS mobile devices in a network or lab environment Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, etc) Basic understanding of Microsoft products/systems and their administration Basic understanding of Apple Mac products/systems and their administration
