About the Role
In this opportunity as Associate Content Technical Specialist, you will:
Publishing: Performs duties such as analyzing, keying, converting, coding, copyreading, editing, merging, rendering, loading, or validation of data.
Supports team publishing goals by meeting deadlines.
Quality Control: Responsible for accuracy and completeness of work product. All work will be checked until competent process knowledge is developed.
Individual and Team Skills: Attends and participates in team meetings, prioritizes own work, and participates in the performance management process (e.g. peer reviews, self-evaluation).
Content acquisition: Duties may include acquisition of manuscripts or core content, analysis of manuscripts and electronic files, coding (mark-up of data) and resolving coding errors, manuscript editing, compiling and editing of content, proofreading and copy reading, quality control, and verification.
About You
You're a fit for the role of Associate Content Technical Specialist if your background includes:
Strong English language skills, including college-level vocabulary, spelling, punctuation and grammar, and sentence structure.
Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and/or external contacts.
Skilled in the use of personal computers and familiarity with multiple software packages, including word processing and file management applications.
Ability to prioritize and stay focused while dealing with multiple assignments.
Detail-oriented with an aptitude for analysis and problem-solving on an individualized level and within the context of a team environment.
Ability to successfully work in a team environment.
Candidates must be willing to work on temporary WFH arrangements.
Must be a Bachelor's degree holder.
Must be willing to work on any shift and shifting schedule.
