Job Summary:
We are currently seeking an experienced Assistant Tax Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a leadership role, overseeing and managing multiple tax practice operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services. The primary responsibility of the Assistant Tax Manager is to accurately and efficiently manage clients' tax reporting, planning, and ensure timely compliance with Philippines tax laws.
Responsibilities:
Lead, manage, and oversee various tax practice operations within the firm.
Take responsibility for the accurate and efficient management of clients' tax reporting and planning.
Ensure timely compliance with Philippines tax laws, rules, and regulations.
Conduct comprehensive tax compliance reviews, due diligence, audits, and provide valuable insights for effective tax planning.
Prepare detailed tax memos, advisories, and other necessary documentation.
Collaborate closely with the accounting team to address client needs and contribute to the overall success of the firm.
Perform additional duties as assigned to meet the evolving needs of our clients.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accountancy or equivalent. CPA license is an advantage.
Strong understanding of Philippine tax laws, rules, regulations, and procedures.
Knowledgeable about regulatory requirements with PEZA, SEC, LGU, and other government compliance entities.
Excellent analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a related field.
Compensation Package/Benefits:
With a work-from-home (WFH) setup, twice a week starting in the third month and depending on the manager's assessment.
