SMC Console Management / Support Staff
Roles and Responsibilities:
Console Management
Perform remote console management
Monitor any events/system messages and batch jobs
Ensure failure jobs are properly logged with the IT Service Management system
Call relevant support according to the nature of the incidents
Re-run failure jobs/Control-M after applying the 1st level fix
Adhere to SMC Security Policy
1st Level Support
Report and attend to calls/email assigned
Create a record in Service Management System (REMEDY)
Served as a coordinator during incident/problem management
Update/open/close the job scheduler
Adhere to SMC Security Policy
Requirements
Holder of Higher Diploma or above, candidate who studied IT-related subjects studied is highly preferred
At least 1-3 years experience in IT Service support or Data Center operations
Knowledge Windows / Unix / Network basic operation is highly advantage
Good communication skill in English.
