REQ10224 Assistant Manager, Copywriter / Content & Community Management (Open Date: 25/01/2024)
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Assistant Manager, Copywriter / Content & Community Management, will be the voice of the City of Dreams brand and responsible for creating, optimizing and regularly updating online content that drives growth. Together with cross-functional teams such as designers, web developer and accounts, he/she will create stunningly beautiful and user-friendly content and take the brand image to the next level.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Adheres to City of Dreams' brand voice guidelines and continue to shape and evolve the brand voice across all communications, marketing, and storytelling touchpoints, including website content, digital ads, OOH, social, email, print, online video and collaterals
2. Manages the brand voice and tone for all marketing communication. Clear understanding on when and how to apply a consistent brand voice to multiple consumer segments that are unique and engaging
3. Actively report on and iterate copy that drives conversion and/or brand awareness
4. Collaborates with designers, accounts, and business unit teams to plan and develop engaging and impactful communication materials from concept to finish
5. Establish sales and marketing collaterals for all customer segments, campaigns and other initiatives; Ensures consistency and effectiveness
6. Conduct audits and editorial oversight of all written content
7. Develop content strategy aligned with short-term and long-term marketing targets
8. Showcase excellent writing and editing skills with the aim of driving an increase of traffic to our website, apps, and social media accounts
9. Develop an editorial calendar and ensure the team onboard
10. Stay up to date with developments and generate new ideas to draw audience's attention
11. Write and market exciting stories for web, social, etc. and structure topics and summarize them in simple and captivating words
12. Respond to comments and customer queries in a timely manner
13. Performs other tasks as assigned by Senior Manager, Creative Content Strategist.
QUALIFICATIONS:
I. Experience
1. At least 5+ years of experience in leading copywriting and content development within an agency or in-house marketing environment; advertising, digital marketing, marketing communications, or any related field
2. Strong portfolio, executed across multiple platforms with a clear affinity for driving growth
II. Education
Bachelor's degree in Media, Communications, Fine Arts, or any related field
III. Skills / Competencies
1. Excellent writing skills in English
2. Familiarity with social media management
3. Knowledge in SEO and web traffic metrics
4. Ability to multitask and take on multiple assignments
5. Good organizational and time-management skills
IV. Other Attributes
1. Energetic and enthusiastic
2. Strong attention to detail and ability to work correctly under pressure
3. Flexible in working hours, as this may require extra hours out of normal work hours
