RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manages monthly financial report preparation and distribution of reports internally and externally, maintained with highest quality, reliability and accuracy
Manages records reconciliations, analyzes accounts, maintains general ledger up to date, reviews accounting records and guides the team in properly recording transactions in the Accounting System
Manages daily activities for Accounting, Payables, and Treasury
Submits complete and accurate government compliance requirements applicable to TDA such as:
Tax forms
Financial Statements and related Notes
Required documents to Government agencies and/or third-party groups such as Film Development Council of the Philippines
Assists the Finance Head in addressing audit issues, implements steps to address risks identified and perform investigations as needed to check compliance or measure risk
Coordinate with TDA's independent auditors in completing audit procedures
Monitors inventory and supplies of TDA
Collaborates with TDA leads, third party entities and government agencies in the performance of the activities of accounting
Prepares confidential payrolls and related payment
Performs other activities as required by management of TDA
KNOWLEDGE
Knowledgeable in bookkeeping, accounting standards applicable and financial reporting practices
Strong technical accounting knowledge (BIR, PFRS and GAAP).
In-depth understanding of mandatory government rules and regulation applicable for TDA
Exposure to use of any accounting system
Basic MS Office Excel
WORK EXPERIENCE
Must be a Certified Public Accountant
Has performed audit responsibilities for at least two (2) years, may it be as a member of an audit firm or had regular exercise with a partnered firm
Has worked on financial reporting process and finance compliance for at least three (3) years
Holds a degree in Finance or Business courses focused on bookkeeping and reporting standards
