Purpose of the Job
The Application Specialist will support, monitor, and develop our Digital Board Meeting solution running Power BI on a Azure SQL extracting data from our SAP HANA BW system, and several other source systems. You will also support business and facilitate continuous growth in business efficiency and usage of the Digital Board meetings.
As an Application Specialist troubleshooting issues will be a part of a normal working day.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting the Digital Board Meeting solution by handling L2 support tickets
Develop SQL backend for the Digital Board Meeting solution
Troubleshooting issues regarding data and usage
Manage the backlog of tickets in the Business Intelligence area
Continues business improvement requests to support the business growth and improve efficiency
Various IT tasks
Skills and Experience Required:
Bachelor's Degree preferably in IT related field
Fluent speaking and writing in English
Minimum 2-3 year BI developer and support experience
Backend developer skills in SQL
Developer skills in Azure Data Factory
Skilled in data modelling
Knowledge about ETL (Extract load and transform)
Knowledge about change processes / plans in a global setup (ITIL)
You will be joining a global team consisting of 18 people worldwide. 5 of your coworkers are already seated in Pasig City.
