The Analyst provides vital analysis, creatives, research and administrative support to the commercial leasing team. He / She assists in the creation of compelling, accurate and engaging reports & presentations, real as well as estate/financial analysis for the Commercial Leasing & Markets Team with the overall objective to contribute in the generation of revenues / sales.
What this job involves:
Analysis
Prepare detailed financial analysis, including NPV cash flows
Occasionally perform complex financial analyses (e.g., headquarters, master plans, etc.) with supervision
Evaluate client building alternatives and lease options on qualitative and quantitative analysis
Research
Gather and evaluating real estate market and property data
Research companies, landlords, and potential clients
Conduct market calls, preview space opportunities, develop fact sheets and tour books, and gather photos and floor plans
Database Management
Maintain accurate, complete and updated database of information research
Prepare and maintain a stacking plan i.e. list of tenants of all segment 1 buildings with lease expiry dates for tracking
Client Interaction
Assist in the preparation and update of reports, presentations, analyses, and on-line systems
Work directly with clients and team members to resolve financial model, transaction and landlord issues
Attend building tours with client and regular conference calls
Other Transaction Support
Review lease documents and write lease summaries and abstracts, and review other materials as part of the due diligence process
Help prepare commission invoices and tracking transactions on deals
Professional Development
Develop an understanding of basic building systems, real estate, and lease terminology
Become familiar with the lease negotiation process and lease issues
Attend JLL-sponsored training sessions and endorsed external training sessions & seminars, and completing courses on Element K
Obtain Real Estate Broker's license
Any other duties that may be assigned to you from time to time by Head of Office Leasing Advisory
