Responsibilities:
Bulk verification
Verify Medicare Cards and Healthcare Identifiers for patients booked on the day.
Liaise with the receptionists regarding missing data
Bulk document import and Best Practice clinical software data entry
Import external patient clinical correspondence using Best Practice clinical software.
Link correspondence to the relevant records in Best Practice clinical software.
Enter patient demographic data using the new patient registration forms in Best Practice clinical software.
Emails
Email patient documents.
Confirm patient's email addresses.
Attend to bounced emails.
Incoming reports
Check incoming reports in Best Practice clinical software and attend to unallocated reports.
Update aliases and manage reports related to ex- practitioners.
HotDoc dashboard
Manage duplicate patients in Best Practice clinical software using the prompts
Manage significant 'Did Not Attend' patients in HotDoc through a 'blacklist' system.
Manage unresolved recalls from HotDoc.
File transfers
Export clinical records as per Senior Receptionist direction
Human Resource file notes
Type and send dictated staff file notes from Practice Managers and Senior Receptionists
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in any field
- at least 2 years working experience
- experience in medical field will be advantageous
- excellent communication skills
- proficient in MS Office (Excel)
- willing to work in a flexible schedule is required (dayshift but 12 hrs per day with 3 days off)
- tech savvy and highly trainable
