Functional overview:
We are looking for a highly motivated Accounts Payable Team Lead to manage the daily operations of a team of Accounts Payable (AP) Analysts and assist in optimizing team productivity and efficiency. The ideal candidate is a strong leader, detail-oriented, communicative, able to work independently and is team player with a solid working knowledge of AP and Expense operations. This role will be successful by being meticulous, personable, and able to both take direction and take initiative. The position reports to the Sr. Manager, Global Accounts Payable and Expenses at our headquarters in San Francisco and will interact regularly with various departments across the company.
Duties and responsibilities:
Effectively lead day-to-day operations for AP Analysts in Manila
Monitor AP related metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for operational decision making through daily, weekly, and monthly reporting to on-shore management
Act as a subject matter expert for all AP and Expense related duties
Provide operational guidance for AP Analysts and serve as main point-of-contact for team in Manila; train, coach, monitor, support, influence, and promote discipline among the team members
Resolve, communicate, and escalate issues to on-shore management
Provide guidance and instruction to employees regarding T&E expense matters
Ability to jump in and process high volume of supplier invoices with accuracy and audit expense reports to ensure compliance to T&E policies, as needed.
Participate in ad hoc projects
Minimum qualifications:
5+ years of Accounts Payable and/or relevant experience, with 2+ years leading a team
