Immediate requirement of the role is to support the expanded accounting responsibilities of the offshore team to service wider entities of the Group and its subsidiaries. Primary responsibility is to support the Team Leader in executing and delivering KPI's based on Service Level Agreement (SLA) for the overall accounts payable management of Steadfast Group Limited.

• Experience in staff management is a plus
• Strong accounting standards knowledge and professional ethics a must especially on accounts payable management; familiarity with Australia Tax laws & regulations will be an advantage
• Competent in Microsoft Office, advanced MS Excel skills required; Concur and/or SAP ByDesign experience will be an edge
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE
Accountability on the accounts payable processing & deliverables: responsible for all accounts payable processing and ensuring adherence to standard processes, policies and guidelines for:
• End-to-end supplier invoice processing and review
• End-to-end payment proposal, approval and processing at online banking
• Request for creation/updating of supplier data, financial data (e.g. Chart of Accounts, Cost Center etc.), access profiles (for processors, approvers, owners, etc.) and other related configuration required in relevant systems
• Concurrent request for new supplier verification in EFTSure database
• Provide supplier invoice details required by other teams to complete intercompany charging
• Prepare prepayment, fixed asset working papers and other relevant month-end activities support
• Action and resolution of all exceptions encountered on supplier invoices and payments processing
• Other functions to be transitioned as per agreed timeline/schedule
Process Improvements, Projects and Change Management
• Suggest refinements to standardised processes for accounts payable to ensure efficient, timely and accurate process delivery
• Prepares and/or updates all necessary documentation, eg. checklists, templates, process maps and manuals/procedures, etc. for all functions in accordance with the agreed scope of services
• Assist with onboarding new entities to relevant systems
• Support the Team Lead to conduct training and knowledge transfer to new staff on systems and processes in accordance with agreed procedures, templates and workflows
• Proactively engage, deliver, execute and implement various standardisation, centralisation and continuous improvement projects and initiatives aligned with finance-wide key priorities

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
The successful candidate should have a minimum 4 years experience gained in a professional services accounting environment. Previous experience as a reviewer will be an advantage. CA/CPA qualified is preferred.
