Description
Perform various financial activities for accounts payable per Emerson Standard Operation Procedures (SOP). This includes, but is not limited to account analysis, supplier/issue resolution, invoice holds review/processing.
Responsibilities
Perform and validate accounts by review, cost-benefit analysis, ratio analysis and other analytical procedures, reconciliation, audit and investigation to ensure charges are valid
Resolve simple to moderate exceptions and handling inquiries from stakeholders
Support the AP staff in a variety of roles to include:
Supplier issue resolution
Assistance with clearing hold reports and credits
Supplier maintenance review
Imprest and refund processing
Perform ad-hoc analysis/tasks as requested.
Additional Information
Attend training, workshop, seminar, and focus group discussions of the team
Support Commercial & Residential Solutions Manila operational excellence initiatives and employee goals by contributing to other projects, if needed.

Requirements
Candidate must possess at least a 4-year Business Administration degree with an emphasis in Accountancy, Finance or its equivalent
2 years of relevant work experiences in accounts payable
Possess knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English.
Advanced knowledge in MS Office application particularly in Excel and PowerPoint
Knowledge is Oracle Accounts Payable is preferred
Must have strong analytical and problem - solving skills, and be able to work independently
Ability to make independent decisions based on good judgment
