This doesn't happen without our awesome people! We are looking for an Accounts Payable Associate to join our growing team!
What's on the menu to do:
​Process payments for vendors and any other ad hoc payments promptly and accurately.
Controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices/billings
Charges expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports including recording entries.
Resolve daily AP related issues with internal and external stakeholders
Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions
Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
Ensure that 3-way matching is properly observed, and inventory management tools are monitored.
Proactively engage and collaborate with local & regional teams to solve operational issues and problems with speed and quality
Participate in further improvement and optimization of processes
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
Respond to vendor inquiries in a polite and helpful manner
Minimum Qualifications
What do you bring to the table?
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree Accountancy or equivalent.
With at least 1 year working experience
With background in retail industry (preferred but not required)
Advanced excel skills
Experience in using accounting/ERP systems (SAP experience preferred)
High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality
Analytical skills to resolve issues with third party
Effective verbal, listening and written communication skills
Effective planning, organizational, stress and time management skills
Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
Can start immediately
