ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST
 
Main responsibilities:
Prepare and post general accruals and release prior accruals raised.  
Perform monthly revaluations of foreign currency bank revaluations.
Maintaining the fixed asset register (including additions, disposals and depreciation) and posting related journals.
Identify prepayments and prepare journals to recognise in correct accounting period.
Responsible for reconciling all fixed asset, accrual and prepayment related Balance Sheet accounts.
Assist the UK Management Accountant with general accounting tasks as need arises.

Qualifications:
Part qualified CIMA/ACA/ACCA qualifications.
Candidates who are looking to gain professional accounting qualifications will also be considered.
Advanced Excel knowledge, must be proficient and able to work independently with Pivot Tables, VLookups, etc.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics and AX is an added advantage.
