Job Overview
The primary function of this position is to perform basic accounting tasks including daily sales report , payroll preparation, government remittances and maintaining and controlling the General Ledger accounts and business transactions of the organization.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Prepare bank transactions such as encashment and depository
Receive checks and cash sales
Handle petty cash fund
Disburse expenses
Recording and summarizing of expenses
Recording sales
Checking and uploading of payroll
Prepares SSS, HDMF & PHIC payments and make sure to pay before the deadline to avoid penalties
Making checks payable and encashments
Make sure that payables are paid on time
Make sure that funding is adequate for the month
Seeks management's approval before disbursement of cash, checks or online payment/transactions
HANDLES CHECKBOOKS and PASSBOOKS
Supervise company and store merchandise, in and out process and inventory
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree holder of BS Accountancy, Management Accounting or any related business courses
Detail-oriented, conscientious, and willing to extend working hours if needed
Open to fresh graduates
Has strong analytical and excellent problem solving-skills
Strong planning skills
Excellent problem solving skills
Can work with less supervision
