Description
We are urgently looking for an experienced accountant with strong background in payroll, bookkeeping and general accounting work particularly gained from US-based company or client.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The role will support a US-based company for the following areas:
1) Bookkeeping
2) Payroll Preparation
3) Tax Preparation, Filing and Lodging - Payroll Tax and Corporate Income Tax
4) Supplier Payments / AP
5) Billing and Collections / AR processing and monitoring
6) Bank Reconciliation
7) Preparation of Accounting or Financial Reports - P&L, Balance Sheets, etc
8) Accounting software set-up and migration
9) Audit support, Analysis and review of Financial Statements and other accounting reports
10) Assist in financial forensics, forecasts and other relevant financial reports.
REQUIREMENTS
We are looking for someone with:
- Degree in Accountancy, Financial Management or equivalent
- Strong background and proven experience using Quickbooks online / Intuit
- Background in Xero or other cloud-based accounting system
- Excellent English Communication skills, both verbal and written
- Attention to details
- Self-driven, self-starter attitude which requires minimal supervision or mentoring
- High degree of flexibility and willingness to learn various accounting systems
ADVANTAGES
- Certified Public Accountant or a non-licensed accountant with minimum 3 to 5 years direct working experience performing end-to-end accounting functions
- Has worked with US-based companies
- Knowledgeable with US Taxation
