Executive search firm, Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of an FMCG distributor company in the Philippines. Our respected client is looking for a highly skilled Operations Accounting Head to manage daily financial operations, develop efficient accounting policies, and provide financial analysis for strategic decision-making. The work setup is onsite, Monday to Saturday. Office is based in Pasig City, Philippines.Key job responsibilities include:
Manage daily financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
Develop and implement efficient accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and variance analysis reports.
Monitor cash flow, analyze financial data, and provide recommendations for improved profitability.
Collaborate with other departments for accurate recording of financial transactions.
Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate financial statements.
Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory agencies during audits and compliance reviews.
Stay updated on accounting regulations and implement necessary changes.
Train and mentor the accounting team for continuous improvement.
Provide financial analysis and support for strategic decision-making.
Key job qualifications include:
Bachelor's degree in accountancy
Open to Non- CPA's
Minimum five (5) years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in FMCG sales accounting or operations accounting.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Proficiency in SAP or similar accounting software, Microsoft Office, and financial analysis tools.
Knowledgeable in accounting regulations, audits, and financial reporting.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to report onsite in Pasig City.
Able to work in the office daily from Mondays to Saturdays, 9am to 6pm.
