ACCOUNTING ASSOCIATE (accounts payables)Labeltechnik Phils., Inc.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepares Accounts Payable Vouchers and Check requests for all local suppliers
Sort, encode and match invoices
Set invoices up for payment
Match invoices to checks, obtain all signatures for checks & distribute checks accordingly
Reconcile accounts payable transactions
Corresponds with suppliers and respond to inquiries
Assist with month-end closing (accrual for the current month)
Prepares 2307 (withholding tax certificate) for rush payment
Release checks on its schedule
Assist with other tasks accounting related tasks as needed
Monitors utilities if paid on time esp. internet, telephone, water, and electricity
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
At least 3 years working experience as an Accounting Associate or a similar position in the accounting department
Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent time management skills
Ability to meet deadlines
Keen to details
Ability to handle confidential information
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Tools
Outstanding ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
