POSITION SUMMARY AND QUALIFICATIONS
The Accounting Assistant is responsible in the project monitoring and reporting. Duties involve preparation of project FS and job costing reports.
Candidate must be a graduate of BS Accountancy
At least 2 years accounting/ Project reporting experience (a real estate work orientation is in advantage) Computerized Accounting, Commission System
CPA License is not required but an advantage
1. PROJECT FINANCIAL REPORTING
a. Prepare monthly project financial statements, job costing and scorecard report with variance analysis
b. Keep and maintain project related general ledger account schedules.
c. Observe timey external compliance and reporting (BIR,SEC,External Auditors) to ensure that company has complied to government and external client's reportorial requirements.
d. Execute project migration to new accounting system (if any) to ensure that all records are reported on financial statements.
2. PROJECT MONITORING
a. Review project related documents (e.g. request for payment, purchase request, cash advance and petty cash vouchers and contract listing) for proper charging and ensure budget allocation with corresponding management approval.
b. Maintain project's taxes, licenses and monitoring report to ensure timely payment of all government related dues.
c. Safekeeping of project related documents for easy reference on queries and audits.
d. Handle and promptly attend to all queries related to project report and schedules in support to management.
TECHNICAL SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
Can prepare and analyze financial reports
Can work within deadlines and can handle multiple tasks efficiently
Can use MS Office, accounting software and databases
Can Reconcile accounting/financial data
Can apply effective interpersonal skills to provide service
Can present narrative description of numerical data effectively
