The Role
As an Accounting Analyst, you will be responsible for on-time and accurate preparation of financial and regulatory reports for SEC, PSE, CMIC, BSP, Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) and management. Supports the Accounting Head in the analysis of financial data.
How you'll contribute
Prepares monthly management profitability report and financial statements required by regulators and management
Reviews tax payments and reports by monitoring payments to ensure compliance with BIR laws
Updates regularly all books of accounts and accounting schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness of general and subsidiary ledgers.
Prepares bank reconciliation reports on a regular basis by comparing book and bank balances to ensure integrity of company's finances.
Prepares financial projections for tax planning and budget purposes using historical and existing data to aid management in decision making.
Generates RBCA, reserve requirement and risk management reports based on existing system data to ensure regulatory compliance.
Keeps abreast with and disseminates rules and regulations of the BSP, PSE, SEC, SCCP and BIR affecting accounting, financial and tax matters for better compliance
What we're looking for
At least 2 years of relevant experience
Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Should have knowledge on tax regulations and Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS)
Financial ratios acumen
Ability to prepare budget and analyze financial reports
