Accountant
Job Description
This role is responsible in providing support to the accounting, finance, and statutory requirements of the business:
Accounting
Preparation of Sales Invoice
Setting up of payments in Online Banking
Preparation of fortnightly payroll
Reporting
Perform month end closing entries
Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
Oversee fixed asset register including additions, disposals, depreciation and reporting
Compliance
Preparation of Agreements with Partners
PAYG Reconciliation
Reconciliation of superannuation payments.
Responsible in the company's Business Activity Statement (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statement (IAS).
Assist in preparation and delivery of statutory requirements
Complete other tasks and projects as directed from time to time by the Finance and Accounting Manager
Qualifications:
Must have high moral standards and ethics
Has excellent organisational skills, highly analytical and keen attention to details
Creative thinker with passion for learning
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
CPA not required but an advantage
At least 3 Year(s) of working experience is required for this position (Preferably Australian Accounts).
Required Skill(s): Office 365, Cloud Accounting Software (preferably Xero)
