Job Description
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
Monitor and analyses accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles.
Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
Coordinate and complete annual audits.
Meet financial accounting objectives.
Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.
Prepares periodic reports required by government on a timely and organized manner.
Prepares month and end year process, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll and utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations, trust account statement reconciliations, check runs, fixed asset activity, debt activity etc.
Job Qualification
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance/Accountancy
At least 1 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably 5 Yrs Experienced Employee specialized in Finance - General/Cost Accounting or equivalent.
Knowledgeable in preparation of financial statement
Proficient in MS Office and other computer applications
