In this Role, you'll get to
Maintain full sets of accounts and ensure all accounting transactions are recorded in general ledger accurately
Ensure accuracy and timeliness of monthly closing of accounts
Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all tax filing and payment
Complete audit for all local entities on time as per statutory requirement
Reconciliation of bank transactions and accounts
Submit applications of payment for professional expenses and advise local staff on the travel and business expenses reimbursement application process via internal system.
Compile with company policy and internal controls
Liaise with auditors, tax agents and company secretaries
Assist local staff regarding travel and business expenses reimbursement application process
Assist team members for duties in other regions if required
What you'll Need to Succeed
Bachelor's degree of in accounting and any other relevant courses.
At least 3 years of work experience (full set account experience) in general accounting and taxation.
Familiar with Philippines taxation and tax incentives (PEZA).
Familiar with Philippines financial reporting standards and International FRS.
Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software, Oracle software experience will be an extra advantage
Good understanding of internal controls and corporate governance.
