If you're keen to join, we're looking for an Accountant (Permanent Work from home) to join our team in Manila.
In this role, your responsibilities will include overseeing AR-related duties, managing inventory, preparing bank transactions and reconciliations, preparing month end reporting pack, and assisting with the month-end, quarter end and year end close process. The ideal candidate for this role is capable of completing tasks with accuracy and efficiency, exhibits exceptional attention to detail and possesses a positive and proactive attitude, always ready to tackle challenges! In this role you will be working alongside a Finance Manager in the Lightspeed Finance Team and have the chance to develop your skills in a supportive environment.
What you'll be doing:
Monitor customer invoices, site activity and invoices for cancellation
Upload bank statements in Netsuite and apply payments to invoices
Upload Braintree, Zepto and Stripe payments in Netsuite and reconciliations
Send refund request email for hardware refunds and input in AR refund sheet for AP Team to process
Update Hardware Income Summary
Manual creation of CM and application of refunds from BT and Zepto in Netsuite
Action Jira ticket requests issued by sales team
Regularly check and respond to Zendesk tickets
Request EOM Inventory report from Supplier for Kounta Own Stock
Prepare adjustment for inventories and create journal entries for month end task
Check the details of hardware transactions as per Hardware Income and COGS

Contributing as part of the wider team to achieve organisational objectives even if this means doing things that aren't strictly within the scope of your role
What you need to bring:
We're looking for a candidate who has experience with the following:
Relevant Degree in Accounting or Finance
Previous experience in Accounts Receivable and Inventory
Knowledge and experience in accounting software, experience in NetSuite is an bonus!
Hands on experience working on bank reconciliations and general ledgers
Our hiring process is very straightforward. You'll undergo a preliminary video screening and the whole process will be conducted at the comfort of your own home, through Zoom or Google Meet. No need to go through Manila's heavy traffic!
