The Role
As an Account Reconciliation Assistant, you will handle the reconciliation of accounts within the scope of the units in accordance with the policies and procedure, approved turn-around time, and service level agreement with other units. You will also be performing effective monitoring and control procedures to detect and mitigate risks on the accounts handled.
How you will contribute
Reconciles system and branch initiated posting in accounts handled such as Cash, Due to BSP Clearing, Due Local Banks, Suspense and Handoff accounts, etc. to identify the nature of discrepancy and ensure the propriety of adjustment to be done in the books of branches, hubs, and other head office units
Observes strict maker-checker policy with all the reports and other tasks handled to ensure accuracy of the output
Proposes ideas and discusses suggestions to continuously improve the process
Identifies ways to improve processes to deliver services with streamlined resources
What we're looking for
Bachelor's Degree in any business course
Knowledgeable of the basic accounting principles
Must have a good analytical ability such as problem analysis and problem-solving skills
Must be keen to details
