This role also involves working closely with business users to understand the business requirements, converting business requirements to a solutions design, and ensuring that these solutions meet the requirements effectively.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, test, and deploy custom programs in the SAP environment using ABAP programming language.Work closely with functional consultants and business analysts to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications for custom development.Review code to ensure that it is optimized for performance, adheres to programming standards, and meets business requirements.Maintain existing programs and provide technical support as needed.Analyze and tune custom programs to ensure optimal performance and scalability.Integrate custom programs with other SAP modules and third-party systems.Create and maintain technical documentation, such as program specifications and user manuals.Develop and execute unit tests to ensure that custom programs meet functional and technical requirements.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Professional Certifications in SAP Certified Development Associate - ABAP with SAP NetWeaver.Experience:Proven experience as an ABAP Programmer, with hands-on experience in SAP ECC 6.0.Technical Skills:ABAP programming languageSAP modulesSAP development toolsData structures and algorithmsPerformance tuningTesting and debuggingCommunication skillsCollaboration skills.
