Monroe Consulting Group Philippines, an executive recruitment firm, is assisting a global Academic Research Institute that offers learning and education to people in their search for a Senior Automation Engineer.
Position Overview:
The Senior Automation Engineer will be part of the Vulnerability and Patch Management Team within Infrastructure Services.
The Senior Automation Engineer will focus on automating patch deployment.
The Senior Automation Engineer will be responsible for the coordination, development, and deployment of new capabilities to manage and automate the platform used by the team.

Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver automation solutions in line with the Patching Management (Infrastructure) roadmap.
Create knowledge base articles, including task-oriented instructions, training guides & troubleshooting instructions.
Integrate technology components such as source code and scripts into the overall automation process.
Participate in Vulnerability Management activities to identify potential new automation opportunities.
Provide support to the Patching Coordinators task if necessary (Project Management).
Basic Qualifications:
Strong scripting and automation skills.
Strong shell programming experience with Bash, command line, and with at least one PowerShell, Python, Ruby, etc.
Solid experience with Windows/Linux (RedHat) Administration with Server Automation or other configuration management tools.
Knowledgeable with CI/CD Implementation with Git and Git workflows experience.
Knowledgeable on Cloud and Virtualized Platforms (e.g., on-prem, VMware vSphere, AWS, Azure) with server patch management experiences is a plus.
Understanding of Networking (switches, firewalls, load balancers), Databases (Oracle and MySQL), and Service Management processes (ITIL).
Work Arrangement:
Hybrid - 2 days on-site 3 days WFH every week - Mid Shift, Makati City.

Salary: PHP 100,000.00 - PHP 110,000.00
