WORDPRESS SPECIALIST
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Sets up custom web page layouts and does visual design edits primarily using Divi by Elegant Themes.
• Sets up custom functionalities in WordPress sites using plugins
• Makes websites responsive for all major mobile screen sizes and browsers
• Assists the team in troubleshooting and fixing website issues
• Undertakes page speed initiatives to make client's website achieve the optimum speed in Google page speed
Qualifications:
• Proficient with WordPress - knowledgeable in designing/editing websites in WordPress.
• Has a good eye for a user-friendly web design
• Well versed in responsive web design
• Has good understanding of front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery
• Knows basic WordPress troubleshooting
• Experienced in plugin/other platform integration to WordPress
• Good communication skills, both oral and written – able to communicate clearly to clients and developers as well as other members of the team.
• A positive person who is open to revising his work to conform to clients’ needs and preferences.
• A good team player.
• Experience with Divi (by elegant themes) not required but definite advantage.
