Duties and Responsibilities:
• Design, build and maintain WordPress website
• Package and launch new programs including but not limited to Sales Pages, Marketing campaigns and similar
• Work closely with the team to resolve conflicts, prioritize needs, develop content criteria, or choose solutions
• Perform website updates and optimization
• Assist in creating content or Sales copy
• Backup files from website to local directories for recovery
• Identify problems uncovered by customer feedback and testing, and resolve issues
• Work with the team on coordinating content posts to Social Media accounts, website and/or blog
• Maintain and optimize Marketing campaigns
• Evaluate code to ensure it meets industry standards, is valid, is properly structured, and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems
• Maintain an understanding of the latest Web applications and programming practices
Qualifications and Experience:
• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related
• Proven experience in WordPress development including updating, maintaining, and website optimisation
• Background in Sales and Marketing (package and launch sales pages, marketing campaigns, and writing sales copy)
• Experience in video editing and relevant Adobe software
• Experience in integrating plug-ins, particularly payment stripe
• Good knowledge of Backend technologies such as PHP or similar
• Good knowledge of Frontend technologies such as HTML5, jQuery, Javascript, or similar
• Knowledge in debugging tools
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to achieve deadlines and show good attention to detail
• Can work autonomously to some degree and a team player
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Working knowledge in Monday.com would be ideal
• Working knowledge in event systems, Kajabi, SEO and AdWords would be nice to have
