RESPONSIBILITIES:
Executes planning, organizing, and implementing Integrated Reservoir Services (IRS) activities to provide accurate and timely correlated data to end-users for an effective, cost-efficient resource management and complies with the standard set by the regulatory bodies.
Ensures safety of IRS and Wireline and Well Intervention Services (WWIS) and other section/department personnel, equipment and stakeholders including contractors and community, and protect the environment in compliance to company's Safety, Health and Environmental Policy.
The individual is directly responsible for well testing and measurement and well intervention/ enhancement operations costing (as much as >P80M per well with rig).
Performs the required testing/logging of assigned wells in accordance to the team's quality standards, approved work schedule, and applicable regulatory requirements. These includes, but are not limited to, Wireline and Well Intervention activities such as downhole surveys, discharge set-up installation, well discharge testing, tubing operation, quenching, well stimulation (air compression, etc) and others.
Responsible in ensuring that all tools and equipment are fit for purpose prior to any operation. Maintains, prepares and calibrates tools and equipment as per quality standards.
Analyzes data results from field testing for accuracy and in compliance to OPM. Prepares discharge test data and other operations reports for submission to immediate superior.
Ensures that all IRS tools and equipment are calibrated and keep for purpose.
Ensures that all preparatory works including site inspection, tool preparation and set-up, necessary permits and coordination with other concerned groups in conducting IRS activities are in-place prior to implementation.
Provides technical guidance to Well Testing and Wireline (WTW) operators on the performance of IRS activities.
Evaluates IRS strategies, methods and procedures and recommends appropriate actions to upgrade quality of field services
Issues stop work order for any hazardous work action and /or condition identified in the assigned work area, scope of work is changed, permit expires, or when a near-miss, or accident occurs.
Secures PTW including all associated clearance as needed. Prepares all necessary document including JMP, JHA, job risk assessment, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Preferably Mechanical or Petroleum Engineering graduate, licensed or with more than 5 years in well-testing operations
Preferably with work experience in geothermal or petroleum industry
Proficiency in Microsoft applications
Good written and oral communications skills, project management skills
With above-average analytical skills, knowledge of various problem-solving and decision-making skills
Extensive knowledge of scientific/quantitative approaches
Adherence to continuous improvement
Strong detail-orientation, creative and resourceful
Able to work under pressure. Must be able to work prolonged hours that may go before and beyond official work schedule and non-working days
Able to work in high elevation and mountainous terrain
Candidate must be willing to travel to other EDC sites as needed
