The Reference Data Operations Lead Analyst is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business.
This role will be responsible for supporting the Reference Data Operations process, particularly working with business and consumers to ensure that the Enterprise Hierarchies and other reference data are properly reviewed, set-up, and communicated for consumption.
Responsibilities:
Support and manage the team for the maintenance of Enterprise Hierarchies and other taxonomies impacted during the Functional cycles.
Lead and manage the communication of changes across multiple consumers.
Leads discussions and requirement gathering sessions, reaching consensus and recommending solutions.
Manages resource allocation and leads the work within a team/project to develop solutions for business reporting issues.
Coordinates the resolution of operational activities for any issues raised.
Possesses a comprehensive understanding of how own area and others collectively integrate to contribute towards achieving business objectives.
Acts as advisor or coach to new or lower level personnel in the business processes and procedures of the business.
Works and coordinates with a group of business leads, operations and technology.
Documents platform processes, procedures and training materials.
Performs other job duties and functions as assigned.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
Experience in Data Management, Reference Data, data analytics
Financial service acumen or experience to lead large cross functional initiatives
Strategic thinker; must be able to look towards the broadest possible view of an issue or challenge; can easily pose future scenarios; can think globally; and can discuss multiple aspects and impacts of issues and project them into the future
Adaptable, flexible, and able to respond to changes in priorities.
6-10 years Experience with defining and implementing data management programs;
Education:
Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience / Masters degree
