A VMware Engineer is responsible for:
Platform Management, Deployment compute, software defined storage)
Software upgrade and maintenance - VMware (ESXi, vCenter, vSAN, Log Insight, vROPS), Cisco (Intersight) and HPE (VCSA)
Hardware upgrade and maintenance - HPE and Cisco (firmware upgrade)
Compliance - scheduled compliance tasks performed monthly, quarterly and yearly
Capacity management including software defined storage
Access Management - all requests except VM admin request
Document Management - review and overall management
Escalation and Troubleshooting - resolution of low to moderate issues (Log Insight), escalation to VMWare
Strong analytical and planning skills;
Good communication and presentation skills;
Excellent problem-solving skills;
Graduate of a Computer/IT related course
Having VMware Certifications is a plus
Ability to work under pressure and time constraints
Communicates effectively in verbal and writing as appropriate for the needs of the organization and the customers
Successfully presents technical information
Strong coordination, organization, teaming and communication abilities
Qualifications:
Junior - 0 to 1 Year of Experience
Mid - 2 to 5 Years of Experience
Senior - 5 to 10 Years of Experience
Entry Level / Junior, Apprentice IT and Software IT and Software 5 openings Bachelor's degree graduate
