About this role:
You will be required to edit YouTube video content and create various other images and short form video for social media accounts
Videos are talking head information and news style content that follows a script and requires simple editing
Responsibilities:
You will work with producers and writers to create the final video product
Your skills will determine the quality of the finished product
You will work closely with the director to finish videos with a quick turn-around time
Receive brief in writing or via quick chat with producer and writers
Manage and treat audio and visual footage
Edit 8-15 minute talking head videos to cut out dead air and mistakes in script reading
Input simple music, effects, graphics, and b-roll as required
Create attractive thumbnails as requested
Create branded images, video titles, and graphics
Edit 6-8 videos per week
Requirements:
Experience and working knowledge of Final Cut Pro, iMovie or Premiere Pro
Experience and working knowledge of GIMP, Canva or Photoshop
Experience using Apple Mac computers is a plus
Any knowledge of cryptocurrency is a big plus
General computer literacy and editing experience
Graduate of any 4-year related course
1-2 years of experience in the same field is required
Excellent communication skills (oral amp; written)
Willing to work either onsite or work from home
Experience with Apple computers is an advantage
Willing to use their own work tools
Proficient in using Apple MacBook with Final Cut Pro preferred
