Overview: 
We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Venue/Operations Manager to lead the operations of our high-end hospitality venue in Cebu. This individual will be responsible for managing a full-scale food, beverage, and entertainment business, with a focus on exceptional service standards, operational excellence, and international best practices. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in managing large teams in hospitality, nightlife, live music venues, and overseeing business growth through new openings, fit-outs, and expansions.
 
Key Responsibilities: 
Operational Leadership: Oversee all aspects of venue operations, including food and beverage service, live entertainment, event management, and guest experience. Manage both front and back-of-house teams to ensure seamless daily operations. 
International Standards: Implement and maintain international hospitality and service standards, ensuring high-quality customer experiences that align with global best practices. 
Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage large cross-functional teams, fostering a high-performance culture. Ensure smooth collaboration between departments including kitchen, bar, service, and entertainment teams. 
Board Reporting: Report directly to the Board of Directors, providing strategic input on business performance, operational improvements, and long-term growth initiatives. 
Project Management: Oversee the opening of new venues, managing all aspects of business launches, including venue design, construction, fit-outs, licensing, and pre-opening operations. 
Financial Oversight: Develop and manage operational budgets, P&L, cost control measures, and revenue optimization strategies. Conduct regular financial analysis to drive profitability. 
Event Management: Plan and execute large-scale events, including live music performances, private events, and corporate functions. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to promote and grow the venue's reputation in the market. 
Customer Experience: Establish and maintain the highest levels of customer service and satisfaction. Handle high-level guest relations, ensuring that complaints and challenges are addressed promptly and effectively. 
Compliance & Safety: Ensure full compliance with local and international health, safety, and regulatory standards. Maintain licenses and permits for entertainment, food, and beverage operations. 
Brand Ambassador: Represent the venue and its brand in a professional manner. Work closely with marketing to develop strategies for increasing brand visibility and customer loyalty.
 
Qualifications: 
Education: Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA or other advanced degrees are a plus. 
Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of leadership experience in managing large-scale hospitality operations, including restaurants, bars, nightlife venues, or entertainment complexes. 
International experience in managing high-profile venues and working with diverse teams is essential. 
Proven track record of overseeing new business openings, including managing the fit-out and build process from concept to launch. 
Experience managing large events, including live music performances, high-end parties, and corporate functions. 
Direct reporting experience to C-level executives or Board of Directors. 
Demonstrated ability to lead teams of 50+ staff across multiple departments. 
In-depth knowledge of food and beverage operations, including kitchen and bar management, inventory control, and health and safety regulations.
 
Skills: 
Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate large teams in a high-pressure environment. 
Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage P&L, budgeting, and revenue forecasting. 
Proficiency in POS systems, financial reporting, and project management software. 
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with team members, stakeholders, and VIP clientele. 
Ability to collaborate with marketing teams to drive sales and brand awareness in a competitive market.
 
Preferred Skills: 
Experience in opening high-profile venues in Southeast Asia or other international markets. 
Expertise in managing the entertainment aspects of nightlife venues, particularly those with live music and high-volume bars. 
Marketing or sales experience, especially in promoting nightlife, live events, or high-end hospitality venues.
