The CompanyTymeX is the tech and operations arm of TymeGroup. Mostly based in Asia, we design and develop software for our business units. We hold bank licenses in South Africa (TymeBank) and the Philippines (GoTyme) and are expanding rapidly in APAC.The TeamWe have an award-winning Design team comprising of 30 UX Designers, UI Designers, Design System Designers, Motion Designers, UX Researchers, UX Writers, and Strategists. You will join our 4-member UX Writing squad, tackling the challenge of creating clear and consistent copy across multiple countries and markets. Our commitment to excellence has earned us six prestigious design awards in recent years.The RoleWe are seeking a talented and enthusiastic UX Research Intern to join our team. This role will be based in the Philippines, with potential opportunities to travel abroad. At Tyme, UX research is a core part of our design process. As a key team member, the candidate will assist in conducting UXR studies and Research Operations activities. This role will give hands-on experience in conducting qualitative studies with opportunities to moderate a few research sessions.Key Responsibilities
Assist in planning and conducting user research activities such as but not limited to user interviews, usability tests, and surveys. Responsibilities will include participant recruitment, scheduling, preparation of research materials, and moderation.
Help create and maintain research documentation, such as participant consent forms, session guides, note-taking templates, and reports.
Assist in the uploading of reports, uploading of user sessions, tagging studies, organizing projects, and monitoring usage of the TymeX research library.
Assist in TymeX's internal research academies by scheduling class dates, preparing class materials and merchandise, and monitoring class progress.
Observe and learn from experienced researchers, shadowing them during research activities, and participating in team discussions.
Requirements
At least one research project to showcase (can be independently done or as part of a school project)
Living in Metro Manila.
Bachelor's degree in Information Design, Information Systems, Information Technology, Communications Research, Psychology, Anthropology, or a related discipline.
Familiarity with at least usability testing, in-depth interviews, and survey design.
Fluent in English and Filipino language.
