Seeking a full-time, detail-oriented tax professional to join our team.
Day to day tasks:
Preparing individual income tax returns.
Entering information from tax documents into the tax return.
Reviewing tax returns for accuracy.
Completing bookkeeping procedures.
Must be very systematic - can stick to and follow a procedure.
Requirements
US tax preparation and bookkeeping experience, 2 years preferred.
Attention to details. Must be very accurate.
Strong organizational skills.
Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax return.
Not be afraid to ask questions.
Self-starter, who takes initiative to find work, when finished a project.
Task/Deadline oriented.
Punctual and reliable.
Can work fast.
Technology savvy.
Experience with Microsoft Office tools: Word, Excel, Outlook.
Course work in math, accounting or finance preferred. Certification preferred.
Knowledge of US and California tax laws preferred.
Experience with tax preparation software Intuit ProConnect Tax and/or Intuit Lacerte will be advantageous.
Experience with bookkeeping software QuickBooks Online, Waveapps Accounting.
Willing to observe US Pacific time working hours
Willing to report in our Mandaluyong office
