We are looking for a Senior Bookkeeper to manage, track and evaluate day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting activities in QuickBooks. Responsibilities include setup, cleanup, weekly and monthly work for new and various existing clients.
Responsibilities
Weekly, monthly, and year-end bookkeeping processes
Payroll processing and reporting
Client communications
Setup and onboarding of new clients in QuickBooks
Clean-up of any new or existing client QuickBooks as needed
Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
Requirements
At least 3 to 5 years proven working experience as a Bookkeeper or Accountant
Experience and knowledge in observing US GAAP
Self-starter with initiative to seek and find solutions with minimal supervision
Advanced computer skills on MS Office, especially Excel
Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks Online software
Ability to manipulate large amounts of data
Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and US accounting principles, practices, and standards.
High attention to detail and accuracy
Degree in Accounting or Finance recommended
QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification a plus
Familiarity with Profit First Accounting or SaasAnt will be an advantage
