THE ROLE
We are looking for a Bookkeeper, who will act as a solutions-driven and deadline-driven accounting enthusiast who leverages full-cycle bookkeeping expertise to perform all aspects of daily bookkeeping that feeds powerful packages. This role will be an essential component in contributing to client experience and optimizing our client's bookkeeping processes using innovation to streamline methods. To be successful in this role, he/she should be passionate about his/her work, engage in the bookkeeping process, collaborate with accounting professionals, and use kindness and humor to foster strong relationships with clients.
SCHEDULE: 8 AM - 5 PM Pacific Daylight Time (11 PM - 8 AM Philippine Local Time), follows Philippine holidays

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Perform full-cycle bookkeeping of diverse clients to provide a clear understanding of their financial position and identify issues that are not on their radar
Collaborate with controllers to equip clients with the financial insights and understanding to drive their businesses forward
Actively engage in Zoom meetings and Slack channels to foster learning opportunities, resolve process issues, or establish an action plan for a client
Embrace constructive feedback from controllers to enhance bookkeeping processes and your skillset
Act as a continuous learner with a willingness to embrace innovative technologies that streamline, automate, and optimize bookkeeping functions
QUALIFICATIONS
A bachelor's degree is preferred
3 to 5 years of experience as a full-cycle bookkeeper in North America specifically in Canada and the USA with exposure to public practice and industry work
Proven history of successfully working with a diverse clientele in various industries, such as white-collar, blue-collar, and start-ups
Technically versed in QuickBooks Online or Desktop or other similar software
Exposure to Smart Sheets, Dext, and Plooto is a plus
Strong computer aptitude, which includes expertise with Microsoft 365 applications
Experience in a multi-client environment with the ability to employ personability and enthusiasm, and the drive to resolve roadblocks and exceed client expectations
Ability to use strong organization, oral and written communication skills to collaborate with clients and controllers to deliver high-quality bookkeeping solutions
Analytical skills with particular attention to detail
Aptitude in data management, analytics, reporting preparation
Ability to function in an autonomous environment-independent worker, self-directed
