URGENT! MECHANICAL ELECTRICAL PLUMBING AND FIRE PROTECTION (MEPF) PROJECT IN CHARGE
 
JOB SUMMARY:
 
Responsible for planning, organizing, directing, controlling, evaluating and closing out construction projects assigned to him.
 
Accountable for the entire project scope, the project team and resources.
 
SPECIFIC DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND ASSIGNMENTS:
Oversees, directs, manages and leads construction of projects from conception to completion.
Ensures that projects are delivered on time and on budget by setting benchmarks, agreeing budgets and monitoring projects.
Reviews the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
Oversees all onsite and offsite construction to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
Checks design documents with architects, surveyors and engineers.
Promotes and maintains health and safety, including site inspections to ensure safety rules are being followed.
Maintains regular communication and attend meetings with clients and their representatives to inform them of progress on the project, i.e. stakeholders and management.
Communicates with consultants, subcontractors, Project Site Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, Design Team and others involved in the project.
Interprets and explains plans and contract terms to administrative staff, workers and clients, representing the owner or developer.
Handles day to day construction monitoring and directly coordinates with subcontractors for all construction related concerns. Ensures that all required materials and other project resources are readily available on site.
Studies plans and specifications to determine appropriate construction methodologies and procedures.
Confers with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, and design professionals to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, and construction problems.
Generates weekly and monthly construction updates.
Evaluates and approves submitted billing of all subcontractors.
Evaluates all claims and change order.
Implements quality control programs and procedures.
Evaluates construction methods and determine cost-effectiveness of plans using modern technological methods.
Takes actions to deal with results of delays, bad weather, or emergencies at construction site.
Responsible for project running cost monitoring; progress billings; change orders; site discipline; manpower and equipment loading; project site policies; controls overtime works; proper material and equipment storage and utilization.
Includes Monitoring of Time keeping to be submitted every Wednesday 2pm of the week c/o HR.
ACTUAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  (SITE ENGR/PROJECT IN-CHARGE)
Manage and direct workers job assignments within Cebu projects.
Conducts daily toolbox meeting or peep talks at site
Prepares work permits at site
Implements quality & safety at site
Inspects site progress, active project sites within Cebu

Reports directly to General Manager for progress and manpower on all projects within Cebu
Generates material take-off & Consumables on project plans and insures if it is based on the BOQ before          requesting it to the warehouse.
Monitor the delivery of materials, consumables, tools, and equipment
Designs shop drawing then present it to the General Manager before submitting it for RFI
Prepares Daily Activity Report/Contractors Logbook for CLI Projects
Prepares Material Submittals and Sample Boards for CLI Projects
Submits weekly reports to MEPF Engr. for CLI Projects
Conducts testing at site and prepare testing reports
Prepares Progress Billing Report for CLI/Client's approval
Prepares Certificate of Completion for completed projects
Prepares occupancy permit documents, signed and sealed for CLI projects
Conducts Preventive Maintenance Schedule (PMS) at site and prepare FSMR report
Attends weekly site coordination meetings
Attends weekly safety meetings
Initiates actions from job request from clients calls from time to time
OTHERS:
Accepts any other task as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor in accordance to the need of the department.
Keeps immediate supervisor informed of work needs other than ordinary routine handling.
Attends to training programs and learning sessions for the enhancement of professional and technical proficiencies.
Actively participates and contributes to the development and accomplishment of department objectives.
Upholds and promotes the good name of the company in all transactions with superiors, co-employees, clients, suppliers, and other external parties as necessary on matters of mutual concerns.
Creates and preserves the most favorable image of the company by conducting all functions in the most ethical and fair manner consistent with the company's mission, vision, goals and core corporate values.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
 
Education:
B.S. Mechanical Engineer
With PRC License 
Experience:
5 years work experience in MEPF construction supervision
Other Skills
Good in oral and written communication skills
Good in Microsoft Office applications
People Skills
Flexible and adaptable
Resourceful and hardworking
