PAYROLL IN- CHARGE
 
Tasks
Highly knowledgeable with Payroll in an Australian set-up (SCHADS AWARD & NURSE AWARD)
Ability to interpret different award and Enterprise Agreements.
Ensuring all payroll transactions are processed efficiently.
Collecting, calculating, and entering data in order to maintain and update payroll information
Compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, and Worker Compensation.
Determining payroll liabilities by calculating employee federal and state income, social security taxes, employer's social security, unemployment, and workers compensation payments
Resolving payroll discrepancy Responding to email and query in relation to payroll.
Maintaining payroll operations by following policies and procedures. Developing ad hoc financial and operational reporting as needed
Able to interpret Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
Preparation of Superannuation Statements.
Assisting managers by providing necessary reports Processing new Starters and terminations
Job Descriptions and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accountancy and or any related field
3 years' experience as a Payroll or a similar role
Proficiency in accounting software (Xero, Quickbooks and the like) and MS Office, particularly Excel
Excellent understanding of Australian accounting and payroll principles and regulations
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
Benefits:
Php 30,000 - Php 35,000

Happy to work from Home (temporarily)
Willing to work from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm shift
Work Schedule:  Monday to Friday
