Vermillion Hotel is seeking a talented and experienced Pastry Chef to join our culinary team. If you are passionate about creating exceptional pastries and desserts and thrive in a fast-paced hotel environment, we would love to hear from you.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts, Pastry Arts, Hotel & Restaurant Management, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Pastry Chef or in a similar role, preferably in a hotel setting
Strong knowledge of pastry, bakery, desserts, and chocolate work
Experience in large-scale production and hotel operations is an advantage
Solid understanding of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Skills & Competencies
Creative with a strong eye for detail and presentation
Consistent in quality, taste, and portion control
Highly organized, reliable, and time-efficient
Team-oriented with the ability to train and supervise junior staff
Strong sense of responsibility and professionalism
