The Manila Foodshoppe is a casual type Chinese Restaurant that has been in Cebu for more than 50 years now. Formerly known as Manila Restaurant, the Manila Foodshoppe is still serving its bestsellers to its loyal customers to this day.
 
The Manila Foodshoppe is serving in 4 branches - the original Manila Restaurant in Manalili, in Escario at Capitol Square, in Mandaue City at Parkmall, and in Talisay City at South Town Centre. Meals here are reasonably priced giving our customers
value for their money.
 
We are currently looking for qualified candidates who are available to start immediately to fill in full time the following position:
 
COMMISSARY ENCODER
 
Job description:
 
Commissary Encoder is responsible for encoding and recording all production- or commissary-related transaction in the database to ensure an accurate inventory of items and other clerical tasks needed.
Transfer posting of items from production storage locations
Checks actual inventory versus system-generated inventory report
Files important documents, receipts, and other transactional records for future reference
Complies with existing standards, guidelines, and procedures.
Educational Background
Bachelor's degree in any 4 year course is often preferred, though not always required.
Some roles may accept applicants with relevant vocational training or certifications.
Technical Skills
Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
Familiarity with inventory systems, production encoding, and report generation.
Soft Skills
Attention to detail for accurate data entry and analysis.
Organizational skills to manage documentation and workflow efficiently.
Communication skills, both written and verbal, for coordination with teams.
Problem-solving abilities to handle discrepancies or system issues.
Experience Requirements
At least 1 year of experience in commissary, logistics, production encoding, or similar fields is often preferred.
Experience with inventory monitoring, sales order processing, document preparation and EXPERIENCE in FOOD INDUSTRY is a plus.
Willing to be assigned at Laguarta, Lahug Cebu City
