Our client is a fast-growing Australian ecommerce business offering a wide range of furniture and home decors. They are seeking to recruit a full-time UI/UX Designer to work with their product and engineering teams.
Duties & responsibilities include:
Gathering and evaluating user requirements, in collaboration with product and engineer teams.
Conducting research and analyzing the data and users' feedback.
Communicating and illustrating design ideas using user flows, wireframes, process flows and sitemaps.
Testing and improving the design of the website.
A/B testing ideas through platforms (e.g. Dynamic Yield, Google Optimize).
Establishing design guidelines, standards, and best practices.
Maintaining the appearance of websites by enforcing content standards.
Optimizing web pages for maximum speed and scalability.
Utilizing a variety of markup languages (e.g. HTML) to write web pages.
Bringing traditional and creative ideas how to grow those conversion KPIs.
Understanding conversion rate optimization (CRO) principles and hacks and being able to apply CRO hacks to any aspects.
Applying creative, low-cost strategies to help businesses acquire and retain customer
Requirements
A relevant diploma in a related field, with at least 3 years of professional experience
Excellent visual design & communication skills
Proficiency in graphic design software including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and other visual design tools
Bonus: Proficiency in front-end development web programming languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript
A good understanding of content management systems (e.g. word press), design thinking process
A good understanding of search engine, conversion optimization principles
Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues
Up-to-date experience with international web protocols, standards, and technologies
Adaptable and willing to learn new techniques
A "can-do" attitude to everything you do
Excellent working computer (Desktop or laptop)
Reliable wired internet connection (Speed should be at least 10Mbps for download and 5Mbps for upload)
