Unilever Food Solutions is the €2.2bn+ foodservice business unit of Unilever. It leads the dynamic foodservice market across its categories and has ambitious growth objectives, marketing a range of professional food and services, to Chefs and Food Service Operators across 67 countries.
Country PH is part of SEA-SA Region with strong growth ambition. The Regional service hub scope is to support mid and small size countries with the right capabilities to enable exceptional growth expected from the markets.
The idea is to have capable resources staffed close to the markets allowing for better and more dedicated support within a regional operation.
Therefore; partnering the counry MD, understanding the business needs and adapting the People agenda accordingly will be important to support business.
The HRBP will be accountable for implementing the People Agenda on the ground and customizing the framework according to the country needs (cultural nuances, readiness, sensitivity etc), providing an agile iteration with Regional HR Manager and LT to ensure a constant and effective adaption of the HR solutions to the local workforce needs (from MDs to employees in the markets). At the same time, ensuring daily front line support to the local team with the purpose to provide the best employee experience possible (onboarding, training, wellbeing etc).
Main Accountabilities
Being the first point of HR contract of the country team for a seamless employee experience journey.
Implementing the People agenda in the country
Managing all human resources activities and priorities for the country team (marketing, CD, finance, chefs...)
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, local Talent Management, Employee Engagement, Employee Relations, Conflict Resolution, Employment Law/Legal Compliance, Performance Management, Wellbeing and advising in HR processes.
Maintains effective employee relations through regular connection with employees in their functional organization, including field locations where applicable.
Ensures and facilitates HR service delivery to the business.
Key Requirements
· Ability to work independently, taking ownership to positively influence the end result.
· Action-oriented to initiate appropriate resources and tools to ensure delivery on key HR processes.
· Continuous improvement / simplification mindset and experience.
· Ability to impact and influence different areas of the organization.
Relevant
· BA/BS Required.
· 3+ years of HR experience in that country
· Preferable has knowledge about employee relations, country regulations
· Working in cross- cultural and matrix organisations
